this is a little bit of what i have briefed my mega talented wedding dress designer with. he is working on a million photos i have shown him and just like magic he is creating my “dream” dress.
my style is not so traditional bridal and it took me what felt like an eternity to find someone who understands my style and doesn’t think i am crazy for not wanting diamantes all over me (my worst nightmare).

please, pretty please forgive me for being so slack on the blogging front. my job got so very busy over the last few months.
but the good news is i am back, and with under 6 months until i get married inspiration will be at an all time high.
the big things are in place, venue CHECK, photographer CHECK, dress CHECK, bridesmaids dresses CHECK, honeymoon CHECK.
it’s all the fun small stuff which makes the wedding extra special, it’s all the little touches like personalised napkins, coasters and the beautiful styling which will stick in our beloved guests hearts. the small stuff is what i love, and will go crazy making and designing over the next 6 months.
so it’s time to get cracking and get to organising the hell out of this most special day!
our wedding theme is “young hearts run free” so with that anything goes, it’s going to an eclectic mix of prints, colour, bohemian and modern. in my head it looks amazing, so let’s hope it looks amazing in real life… xx

this is a little snap shot of one of the most beautiful weddings i have ever laid my little eyes on. this is rachel and ramai’s wedding, you met rachel earlier on peppa hart bride here. rachel is the mega super woman behind in spaces between.
rachel and ramai’s wedding was jam packed with awesomeness, from the beautiful setting, to her perfect dress, to the decorations, to the amazing menu and they are so madly in love as you can tell by the smitten look on their faces throughout their day. it really was a dream wedding.
i am lucky enough to call rachel a friend and someone who inspires the hell out of me!

honeymoon dreaming
are you dreaming about swimming in this crystal blue water? i sure am. our honeymoon is now booked and this is the beautiful house we have rented on the gili islands (just off bali).
it will be a week of swimming, snorkelling, hiring boats, massages in our room and a chef even cooks all your meals at the house for you. i don’t think i will ever want to leave.
i cannot wait for this week to just relax and enjoy being married, leading into the wedding is going to be super hectic.
countdown is on, 6 months until we are living it up in bali.

a happiness post
today i am writing about happiness, and that’s exactly what i am full of at the moment. in fact i think it’s almost bursting out of me.
i don’t know where to start, but this last month has been a big one! i was lucky enough to be offered a killer a promotion at work and i am now officially a manger, putting my big wig hat on will be a huge challenge for me but something i think i am ready for and cannot wait to get into. i feel honored to be put into a role like this within such a big organisation.
next on the happiness list is my amazing fiancé, i have so much love for mr bell. he would do anything to make our life together the best it can be. i really cannot wait to get married to this crazy man. there will definitely never be a dull moment. 7 months to the day until we are officially mr + mrs. i get butterflies just imagining the day, the week, the moment i walk down the isle. wooahhh the tears will be flowing…
not to forget a very special new addition to our home, stella – she is a tiny little sausage dog puppy! stella is the most precious pooch in the world and shows us so much love already. we are deeply and madly in love with her. i have been sneaking her to work with me, which makes work so much fun! mr bell and i have been on the search for the perfect puppy for around 6 months, and then we found stella, she has a prefect little honey coloured coat and is about the size of my hand at the moment. we cannot wait to have her running around our house for many years to come. bless her and her cute puppy face!
next is the love i have from my amazing friends, we had a little mid-week get together at our place last night, i loved looking around and thinking how ridiculously lucky we are to have such incredible people in our lives. it’s engagement central in our friendship group at the moment. i think it’s up to 5 engagements in 4 weeks, i need to start a wedding planning business asap!
to finish off the happiness list is all the wedding planning is coming together perfectly, on saturday my beautiful wedding dress begins the huge process of getting made. i couldn’t be happier with the design and i cannot wait to share all the pictures on here. we have finally found a wedding planner that gets my style and doesn’t think i am crazy for not wanting frangipani everything. yipppeeee.

i am working on our wedding invites at the moment. hopefully i can get through the design work by the end of this week and send them off to print. so far this is what they are looking like. it will be a little mini book, lots of bright colours and info - having an overseas wedding and a week of celebrations means a one page invite doesn’t quite cover it.
i hope all our loved ones enjoy receiving them as much as i enjoy designing them.
